The SC4 is a high-quality shielded adapter for connecting a microphone with a 3.5mm output to the TRRS jack of a smartphone or tablet. It is suitable for users who want to connect their RØDE VideoMic camera to their iPhone and record it using the ''RØDE Rec'' app (iOS). The gold-plated contacts are colour-coded: Grey indicates TRRS output. Although the SC4 was originally developed for the iPhone or iPad, it is also suitable for many Android devices.
