Metallica frontman James Hetfield’s relationship with ESP spans decades, resulting in numerous signature models that can be seen in James’ hands during performances. James’ signature guitars stand out for their reliability, quality components, excellent craftsmanship, and unique design.
The Snakebyte model from the James Hetfield LTD Signature series features a 24.75” scale neck construction, a mahogany body, a thin U-shaped, three-piece mahogany neck, a Macassar ebony fingerboard, 22 Extra-Jumbo frets, a locking TOM bridge, and a TonePros tailpiece, as well as James’ own active EMG JH SET pickups. The Snakebyte Camo is based on a camouflage pattern created by high-performance hunting equipment manufacturer KUIU, and the design was personally selected by Hetfield. The LTD Snakebyte Camo includes a matching custom hardshell case.
