It features an American basswood body with arm and torso carves, a flame maple veneer top, custom OEM .strandberg* pickups, and the updated NX hardware platform — all at exceptional value for professional performance.
The Boden Standard NX series was created to deliver the core features of higher-end .strandberg* models like the Original, Prog, and Fusion, but with simplified solidbody construction and proprietary pickups to reduce cost without sacrificing performance. The updated NX version improves playability and tonal response with a sculpted neck joint, arm contour, and EGS Rev7 bridge hardware.
This guitar pairs a quartersawn maple neck and fretboard with carbon fiber reinforcement and the patented EndurNeck™ profile for long-term stability and ergonomic comfort. The H-H pickup configuration with custom 7-string soapbar humbuckers and a 5-way switch provides a wide tonal palette — from articulate clean tones to full-spectrum distortion — perfect for modern progressive music and beyond.
