The PMC 8-2 SUB-R delivers deep, powerful bass down to 25 Hz with precision and low distortion. Its twin 200 mm (8″) drivers each run on dedicated 400 W Class-D amps and sit in a 3 m effective ATL™ transmission line. Seamless integration with PMC 6-2 or 8-2 monitors is possible via XBD configuration, or use it standalone in multichannel and immersive systems. DSP functions—including HP/LP filters, shelving & parametric EQ, delay, phase invert, and level trim—are accessed on the rear panel or via the LAN-based SoundAlign™ interface. The left-handed cabinet positions drivers on the outer edge of a stereo array for optimal stereo imaging.
