Four application-specific modes reshape the EQ curve for a given context with a single press: Music adds warmth and low-mid weight for playback and DJ use, Live is neutral and transparent for general sound reinforcement, Club boosts low end with a wide mid cut for dance floor applications, and Monitor compensates for the 40° listening angle and applies more aggressive feedback suppression. The Outdoor mode corrects for the absence of room reflections in open-air settings, removing the need to manually re-EQ the system when moving from an indoor venue to an outdoor stage. All modes are accessible from the rear panel or wirelessly via the Thump Connect 2 app over Bluetooth, without walking back to the cabinet.
Bluetooth linking, stereo and dual-zone – two speakers without an audio cable
Two Thump210XT units can be paired wirelessly over Bluetooth and switched into stereo or dual-zone mode – dual-zone allows each speaker to serve as an independent zone playing different sources simultaneously. Bluetooth 5.0 handles audio streaming and app communication in parallel, so level adjustments, voicing changes, system EQ, and mutes via the Thump Connect 2 app (iOS and Android) work from anywhere in the room while music is playing. Analogue source pairs (XLR/TRS) still require a cable link through the Thru XLR output. M10 flypoints built into the cabinet allow the Thump210XT to be suspended from truss or a fixed ceiling installation – a hardware option rarely found at this price point.
