ToneMatch and zEQ instead of manually learning every microphone's tone
Selecting a microphone model or acoustic guitar type from the list for a given channel instantly loads an EQ curve tuned for that specific gear, instead of starting correction from scratch on every tour date with borrowed equipment. zEQ adds fast three-band adjustment on top of that preset, so an engineer can dial the tone into a specific room without reverting to factory settings. Eight channels with 48V phantom power and combo XLR/1/4" inputs handle several condenser mics and line-level instruments at once without repatching cables between sets.
Scenes and a tuner instead of separate stage devices
Five saved Bose scenes – Full Band, String Band, Stereo DJ, Electronic, and factory settings – switch the entire routing and effects chain with one knob, so a duo playing an acoustic set followed by a laptop playlist doesn't need to repatch cables between numbers. A built-in chromatic tuner and tap-tempo delay remove the need for a separate tuner pedal on stage, and the USB output lets you record or livestream the show at the same time without an extra audio interface.
