The compressor can operate in dual mono or stereo mode.\nHA-609A offers standard and fast attack times in the compressor and limiter sections, as well as wide threshold ranges (-20 – +20 dBu) and limiter levels (0 – +20 dBu). The compression ratio has five fixed values: 1.5:1, 2:1, 3:1, 4:1, 6:1. The compressor's recovery time can be switched between 100, 400, 800, and 1500 ms, as well as two automatic modes A1 and A2. The limiter's recovery time has switchable fixed values of 50, 100, 200, and 800 ms, as well as two automatic modes A1 and A2. Each channel has a true bypass function for A\/B listening.\u003c\/p\u003e\nOn the front panel there are two large volume knobs to clearly display attenuation \/ gain for each channel.
